Bald Dude Apps

Two apps. One account.
They work together.

A planner and cook log built for pitmasters, and a warm home base built for the whole family — made first for our own kitchen and our own household, then for yours.

01

Built for our own table first.

These started as tools we wanted for ourselves — a pitmaster's planner and a household our family actually runs on. If they earn their place with us, they'll earn it with you.

02

One account, two apps, one conversation.

Plan a meal in WildNest and it shows up in Rendered ready to cook. Sign in once and both apps know you. No other pair of apps does this.

03

iPhone and Android, equally.

Nobody in the house gets the second-class version. Both apps are built for both platforms, so a family is never split by which phone they carry.

04

No ads. Ever. Your data is yours.

We don't sell it, mine it, or rent out your attention. The apps make money by being worth paying for — not by watching you.

For the cook
Rendered

A planner, cook log, and recipe-evolution tool for serious home cooks and pitmasters. Works for 14-hour briskets and 14-minute Mongolian Beef.

Works backward from dinner

Tell it when you want to eat. The timeline engine schedules the whole cook in reverse and tells you exactly when to light the fire.

Scales by weight

Grams scaled to your actual cut, with the percentages exposed so you learn the ratios — not just the numbers. Volume's there too if you want it.

Live cook dashboard

Step-by-step prompts, timers, temperature logging, and real decision points — wrap or ride the stall? glaze now? — surfaced as you go.

The cook log & evolution loop

Every cook becomes a record. Recipes carry versions, and "Your Pace" learns how you actually cook to sharpen the next timeline.

Cook Coach & paste-and-parse

Paste any recipe and it's structured for you. Mid-cook, ask the Coach anything — it knows your recipe and exactly where you are in it.

MEATER thermometer, wired in

Bluetooth probe temps stream straight into the cook and trip your alerts at the threshold — no second app, no guessing.

Where they meet

Plan in WildNest. Cook in Rendered.

This is the part no one else does. The two apps share one account and hand work back and forth, so the week you plan as a family becomes the cook you actually pull off.

In WildNest

Plan the meal

Drop a recipe onto a night of the week as part of the family plan.

Automatically

List & schedule fill in

Its ingredients land on the shared grocery list; its cook time lands on the family calendar.

In Rendered

A start time, computed

The same meal becomes a planned cook with a timeline-engine start time, ready when you are.

// one sign-in spans both apps — sign up for one and the other already knows you

For the family
WildNest

A warm home base for everything a busy household juggles — chores, lists, schedules, meals, and the people themselves. Families and roommates both.

Nest smart. Live wild.
